Am tresarit la unele faze din cauza sonorului tare de cinema dar sigur daca il vedeam acasa nici macar la alea n-as fi miscat. Atmosfera a fost banala, in putine momente tensionanta.
Mi-a ramas mai degraba primul film in minte decat asta care chiar m-a dezamagit. MA asteptam la mult mai mult.

I was afraid to look out of a dark window for months When the first Alien came out, it also scared the beejeebees out of me, it was one of the first movies that actually made me nearly jump clean out of my seat!
That's right, you heard me right I'll not mention the name of the in my opinion way overrated movie, but I WILL say that it was no where near the movie that Annabelle is.
So, I don't know who these critics are, and I don't know how they fill out their score card, but they need to find a new occupation, because they're total nimrods!!

Here's a quick summary of Annabelle: A soon-to-be mother receives a collectable doll for a present from her husband. She loves the doll and adds it to her collection.
Things are going beautifully for the newlyweds I don't want to spoil anything by saying more, but this movie is supposed to have a kernel of truth somewhere in there concerning the doll creepy, right!?
It's also based on a concept storyline from the movie, The Conjuring. So, I'll be watching The Conjuring next I wonder how the "critics" rated it?
I think I will just put my trust in what the reviewers say, because, the other reviewers seem to have better taste than the "professionals".
Anyway, watch Annabelle and see what you think. See if you don't jump a time or two! Expected a poor movie after all the reviews, but was pleasently surprised by a good story and scares that weren't all jump-scares.
Perhaps it was because I went in with low expectations, but it opens strong, explains why things happen the way they do, and have some good scares.
And it's finally refreshing to see a buck of the trend where everyone doubts the protagonist, especially the husband.
It can be frustrating to see really REALLY crazy things happen in front of these guys' eyes and they just attribute it to something odd but otherwise normal, or even more frustrating!
In this one the husband actively supports his wife in a very difficult situation and it is a breath of fresh air that as the audience you aren't yelling at the characters like they are a few fries short of a happy meal.
If you want a simple horror movie this is a good cheap pick. Stellar original, followed by But overall, I found this kind of uninspired.
I don't know if it was the acting, the story, or both. The husband was super annoying. You could tell who wore the pants in that relationship.
And why would the mother put the doll in the same room as the baby, knowing what happened to it? That apartment looked HUGE.

I think they had good intentions but it just had some bad writing. The only creepy part was about 10 minutes in the basement.
